OnePlus, Poco, Realme and Xiaomi all announce Android 11 beta programs

Also, for smartphone users, recently Stadia has announced mobile touch controls so that you can game on your phone even without a gamepad or controller.

Android 11 beta introduces a new notification system that divides notifications into three categories, including a group that collects all chat notifications.

Meanwhile, OPPO and Xiaomi have announced that their respective Android 11 beta programs will commence soon, but did not specify an exact date. The issue is regarding the gesture navigation feature which can cause your phone to crash and reboot. Google Home supports the new API that can let you turn on or off the lights or adjust the brightness more easily. Android 11 Beta software is unstable and you don't want to end up without crucial features that you use every day. On the OnePlus website the company wrote, "In collaboration with Google, we are proud to offer OnePlus 8/8 Pro users an early glimpse at the future of Android".

Despite the platforms many limitations though, Google is still heavily invested in Stadia and wants to conquer yet another hurdle by opening it up to more Android devices.

Here's what you need to know about the beta build.

Google was supposed to launch the latest version of Android in the Google I/O this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event got canceled. This feature can be enabled in Beta 1 from Developer Options "Media resumption" before it is available for the official rollout.

As is the case with any beta software, payment services could have issues and some users (on Reddit) have started reporting that Google Pay is not working after installing the Android 11 beta. Instead of having to switch back and forth between your messaging app and your stocks app, you will tap on a bubble to open up the conversation in the stocks app. However, Google Digicam is not a single of the apps supported, which is rather a disappointment considering the fact that this is the application used by a large part of the Android neighborhood. What Google did with Android 11 is to group them all, right on top of all the other notifications.

Swiping down on the notification shade freezes the UI and the problem occurs repetitively in a span of a few minutes.

There's always an issue ready to occur with beta updates and that's why they are not the final releases.

Other features include customising the apps impacted by Do Not Disturb and the introduction of Native Screen Recording.

All data is also cleared while flashing the build and some apps may not function properly.
